Constructed in 1964 as Hachland Hills, the historic walls of Tanglewood have hosted some of Nashville’s greatest country music stars including the legendary Minnie Pearl and numerous dignitaries from around the world. The 1790s Cabin located on the Tanglewood House property was the former residence of Andrew Jackson our nation’s 7th President while his home, The Hermitage, was being built. The entire estate boasts alimitless amount of memories for so many in our area. From high school proms, family reunions, holiday meals, and weddings- the Tanglewood House has been at the heart of Clarksville’s community for decades.
Renovated in 2011, the Tanglewood House has transformed into to one of the premier special events and wedding venues in Clarksville, Tn. Its ambience evokes the refined grandeur of a mid-nineteenth century home with manicured lawns, ample natural lighting, and historic decor. Surrounded by our bustling city, Tanglewood’s century-old, grand oak trees and authentic log cabins provide our guests with the privacy and intimacy they deserve on their wedding day.
The Tanglewood House features a Ballroom and Hearth Room with accommodations for up to 150 guests for our catered events. As a wedding venue Tanglewood offers two striking areas to accommodate your ceremony. The first ceremony area is in our Hearth Room, a quaint interior room with exquisite stone and iron work. The second is an open-air wedding venue among stately trees featuring a log cabin as the backdrop and dark-stained, walnut church pews dating back to the 1800s. Floral and associated wedding rentals are available.
