Tucked away on the quiet side of the Snake River in downtown Wilson, the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center offers an affordable yet charming venue for your big day. This building was originally built in 1930 as a two-room schoolhouse, which grew as the community did over the years. Its years as an educational facility came to a close at the end of the 90’s, transforming it into a valuable place for the community to gather and celebrate. Imagine saying your “I do’s” in the school house’s ample yard, sharing your first kiss as spouses surrounded by the beauty of nature. If you are looking for an even more family-friendly environment, consider sauntering just across the street and exchanging vows in the Owen Bircher Park -- complete with playground and lush lawns. To celebrate your union, retreat inside of the school house and gather in one of the meeting rooms. There is both a larger and smaller space available for your use depending on the size of your event. Both spaces have access to a commercial kitchen that will allow you to enjoy a delectable meal with the caterer of your choice!
