Built in 1923, the Old Laurelhurst Church is an outstanding example of Spanish Colonial Revival-style architecture, and the perfect location for your new beginning as husband and wife. With an arcaded entrance, your soon-to-be husband will be in awe as you walk into the church and down the aisle. The church features wrought-iron balconies and 11 magnificent cathedral-quality stained glass windows, perfect to set the tone for your ceremony. The live acoustics and warm ambiance provide an intimate feeling, complementing the long and stately aisle in the sanctuary, which features the ornate original wooden beams and trim. A nondenominational Christian church, the Old Laurelhurst Church seeks to be of service to all. The church allows couples to bring in the approved Christian minister of their choice to officiate, or will provide referrals. Brides may have their musicians perform in front or in the balcony, to fill the room with song and romance. After the ceremony, join your guests in the on site Reception Hall for an evening of dinner, dancing, and toasting to your new marriage.
