The Genoa Community Church is the ideal setting for an old- fashioned, small, intimate wedding to remember forever, whether formal or informal. This important piece of Nevada history is a non-denominational church, built on its present site after the disastrous 1910 Genoa fire burned most of the business section. You will truly be part of a legacy when you choose to exchange vows in the Genoa Community Church, which has been providing the perfect venue to say “I do” for Genoa couples for generations. The Church has 17 pews and can seat 75 guests in this old-fashioned white clapboard church with light blue trim and a classic small bell tower. Enjoy a traditional processional as Wagner's bridal chorus from "Lohengrin" - Here comes the bride'' or Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" from a Midsummer Night's Dream, is played on the old pump organ. After the ceremony hold your receiving line in front of the church where your guests will give you well wishes before heading off to celebrate at your reception.
