Located within the scenic Bucks County, Pennsylvania is the historic Old School Meetinghouse, a beautifully simplistic building that was once the Southampton Baptist Church. Established by a prominent Quaker in the the late 17th century, the building was used as a house of worship for over 300 years. This incredible facility is considered part of the National Registry of Historic Places and has remained largely unchanged since the 1850’s. Arriving guests will be greeted by the sight of blooming flowers, lush lawns, and mature trees, all surrounding an elegant structure with expansive windows, gabled ceiling, and columned front porch. The neutral coloration and sky high ceilings of the building’s interior leave a lot of room for personalization, meaning that you can walk down the aisle in your ideal space. Ceremonies of any denomination are welcomed at the Old School Meetinghouse. Just across the road is the idyllic Tamanend Park, an ideal location for taking memorable wedding photos on your big day. Ultimately, holding your wedding at the Old School Meetinghouse not only offers an unforgettable venue for your most sacred vows, but also places your ceremony into a line of hopeful couples who have been united here for centuries.
