Whether your tastes are formal and elegant or Colorado casual, the one-of-a-kind setting of the Wheeler/Stallard Museum delivers an eclectic blend of Victorian charm and Aspen hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Aspen’s hip and historic West end neighborhood, this magnificent Queen Anne-style Victorian home is one of the most electrifying buildings in Aspen’s history. Built in 1888 by Jerome B. Wheeler, the home and grounds, which take up an entire city block, provide the ambiance and service for a remarkable Aspen wedding. The Museum itself cannot house your ceremony and reception but the surrounding grounds are certainly beautiful enough to host your wedding celebration. There are three lawn areas to choose from, one which features a large cement patio. Outdoor celebration options are endless here, from hosting cocktail-style receptions to setting up tables and chairs for a sit-down dinner. Tents are strongly recommended as the weather can be uncertain. Rain or shine, your wedding will certainly be a success!
