Nestled in the scenic town of Cranbury, the Parsonage Barn blends history and charm to create a picturesque wedding experience. As a pre-revolutionary and hand-hewn building, it appeals to couples desiring a secluded and rustic wedding. Originally constructed in 1741, the barn once belonged to the Parsonage Plantation of the Presbyterian Church of Cranbury. Its wooden frame was recently reconstructed and is now managed the local Historical and Preservation Society. Now, it rests on a property called Cranbury Barn Park along with an equally lovely wagon house and corn crib. Imagine pulling up to the barn in a vintage pickup truck, delighting in its peaked roof and charming white oak window frame. If you adore re-purposed mason jars and country bouquets, you will swoon over the Parsonage Barn and its surrounding grove of trees. The natural setting is particularly stunning in the autumn and spring, when the foliage changes color. Inside the barn, you will find a vaulted, wood-beamed ceiling. Take your wedding photographs inside or outside this gorgeous barn. The Parsonage Barn is the sweet, rustic barn that you imagined as a child, and the ideal spot for a country-chic wedding.
