Make beautiful wedding memories in a grand historic setting. The Roberts-Mozley house in historic downtown Douglasville, is the home of The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County. The house, built in 1901, is classically beautiful with white pillars, picket fence detailing, a balcony, and a grand entrance. Host your wedding ceremony on the sprawling lawn with The Roberts-Mozley house as your backdrop. Your guests will cheer as you “kiss the bride” on the porch and walk down the steps and into the yard as a newly married couple. More than one hundred years after the home was built, the past of this elegant house is vibrant and alive in the dark stained heart-of-pine that dominates the grand foyer, multi-landing staircase, and the forgotten tradition of a "courting bench." Fireplaces, warmed by the soft colors of antique tortoise shell tiles, welcome you and your guests to enjoy the way of life enjoyed by the previous owners of the house.
