The Mountain HomePlace Farm offers families and groups unique experiences from touring the grounds, to having an old-fashioned wedding at the Fishtrap Church. The buildings include the McKenzie family cabin, which is a double pen cabin. A double crib barn, a one-room schoolhouse, and the old Fish Trap United Baptist Church are also on site. The original Lemaster house is being used as a working blacksmith shop. The gardens and fields are surrounded by split-rail fencing. Interpreters in authentic period costumes perform daily chores on the farm April through October, making for a lovely addition to your unique, personalized nuptials. The administration building also has an auditorium that comfortably seats 150 guests. For a rustic chic, vintage wedding, you will not be able to find a better location. Set up seating and tents outside in the grounds and have your guests breath in the fresh air as they celebrate with you. Feel the gentle breeze and sparkling rays of sun shining in between the leaves while you make your vows and have the perfect storybook wedding at the Mountain HomePlace Farm.
