The Horticultural Hall’s fine Arts & Crafts structure, still largely intact, was designed by the well-known architectural firm of Spencer & Powers. Built originally for the Lake Geneva Horticultural Society, it has been used and supported primarily by the Lake Geneva Gardner's & Foreman's Association, founded in 1905, and the Lake Geneva Garden Club, founded in 1915. This location, on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior, boasts a rich history and you will feel it as you walk into the main hall of the building. With a curved ceiling supported by a unique geometric design of wooden beams and vintage lanterns hanging along the center, this building looks almost like a small village’s chapel in Europe. With small but many windows, a lot of natural light comes into this building for a soft glow and romantic ambience. Choose this historic beamed great hall with a beautiful parquet floor for your ceremony or take it outside to the magnificent flower-filled courtyard, open to the sky and enclosed for privacy by ivy-covered screened arcades on three sides. Have your fairytale wedding at this enchanted location and fall in love once again with your new spouse and this lovely venue.
