Almost 250 years ago, Camden, South Carolina’s founder Joseph Kershaw built the magnificent Kershaw-Cornwallis House for himself and his family to live in. The incredible Georgian-style mansion exudes classic elegance, and is the perfect spot for your wedding day celebrations. Stunning from a passing glance, the tall white house stands out in the green grassy fields surrounding it. The expansive open space is a great place to host a warm-weather outdoor wedding. With the House as your wedding party’s home base, all of its amenities and rooms will be available to you. The wedding ceremony can be set up right below the long white staircase. As the bride descends down the steps, all of the guests will be in awe of the incredible scene. After the ceremony your party can celebrate in a large white tent in the yard, or head inside to the gorgeous, rustic, brick walled banquet room. All of your guests will feel at home at the Kershaw-Cornwallis House.
