Wrapped behind a serpentine brick wall and under a canopy of ancient oaks, deodar cedars and magnolias, is Hopelands Gardens. Bequeathed to the City of Aiken by Mrs. C. Oliver Iselin, this 14 acre estate was opened in 1969 as a public garden. Radiating throughout the gardens is a network of paths shaded under 100 year old live oaks. Take a walk with your soon-to-be spouse and bridal party on the lazy curves of the paths and garden borders that weave through the garden grounds for a spectacular photoshoot. Your guests will be greeted by the two stone greyhound sculptures keeping watch over three magnificent fountains that make up the forefront of the view. The rock fountains are brimming with sparkling waters that your guests will delight in. Have your wedding ceremony outside on the green lined with woodlands or near the quaint, historic Joan Tower Gazebo with vintage design. Have your dream wedding in the dream location and feel like you have stepped into a Jane Austen novel for your special day.
