Originally constructed in 1939 as the entrance to Glacier National Park, the Inn is maintained to reflect the era in which it was built. Meaning, when you book a stay or event at the Izaak Walton Inn, you are transported back to when many of our modern day conveniences were not available. Electrical services, such as telephones, televisions, elevators, and air conditioning, are not available at the Inn. Likewise, cell phone reception is not available within a 30 mile radius of the property. However, what the Inn lacks in modern day conveniences, it makes up with stunning scenery and unique offerings. The property is abound with majestic views of the surrounding mountains and one million acre wilderness.
