For a wedding venue full of historic style, consider hosting your big day at the New Orleans Board of Trade. Built in 1880, the Board of Trade is one of New Orleans more unique venues for hosting a wedding. The venue features three different areas to host different parts of your wedding day. The Arcade, a remnant of the 1859 St. James Hotel, is a cozy setting for an intimate ceremony. With its cast iron facade, the promenade is a romantic setting to exchange your “I do’s” surrounded by your close family and friends. Not the ceremony setting for you? The Arcade can also serve as cocktail hour space or romantic photo location. The Board of Trade also offers the Plaza for wedding ceremonies or intimate receptions. Modeled after Parisian parks, this space features flagstone floors and decorative planters surrounding a lovely fountain. The sereness of the water features provides an alluring atmosphere in the space. An outdoor Patio area is also available for Plaza overflow seating or smoking. Whether you utilize one or all of the available event spaces, the New Orleans Board of Trade is an elegant location for an intimate wedding celebration.
