Built in 1924, the Laramie Railroad Depot was made into a museum in 1985 and now houses a small museum of railroad memorabilia. This lovely building is the only remaining on left from the once large Union Pacific presence in Laramie and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The railroad is the reason for the City’s original existence and the Depot is an important part of Laramie’s historic legacy. The interior boasts high windows with original vintage lighting hanging from the ceilings and dark wooden beams arranged artistically on the ceiling and walls. The tile floor and golden walls set off against the dark wooden architectural notes perfectly to create a soft, vintage, romantic atmosphere that recalls times of old. This classy building looks great with classic colors and traditional wedding decor, making for a gorgeous and elegant venue to hold a wedding. The great ambience will make your wedding and reception a feast for the eyes.
