Known as the oldest and largest synagogue in Richmond, Congregation Beth Ahabah offers the ideal venue for a diverse number of Jewish faiths. Originally constructed as a refuge for the Jews of Richmond -- who have been settled in the area since the late 18th century -- this beautiful synagogue has a history that is as long and rich as your future marriage! With this elaborate history also comes grandiose architecture, as the congregation has had hundreds of years to erect a temple that reflects the glory of God. Say your “I do’s” beneath an epic chuppah draped in fabrics and flowers. The Temple’s soaring ceilings, luminous gold and white sanctuary, and detailed stained glass windows combine to create truly breathtaking interiors that you and your guests won’t soon forget. To make the wedding process easier, the Temple’s Executive Director will work with you and your beloved to develop the wedding day you have always imagined!
