Tiburon, CA 94920
Located at the waterfront edge of Main Street in the picturesque town of Tiburon, the Corinthian Yacht Club was founded in 1886. As one of California's oldest landmarks, the multi-story, waterfront clubhouse was built in 1911. Just outside is a majestic, unobstructed view of the expansive bay, Alcatraz and Angel islands and the sparkling Bay Bridge for an unbeatable panorama. The distinctive "Colonial Revival" facade decorates the outside edges along with impressive columns. In the Clubhouse, the wood-paneled Grand Ballroom is dignified with wooden floors, an exquisite fireplace and stage. Nautical photos and regalia is a theme throughout the building. The sun porch is just outside the ballroom where guests can step outside to take in some fresh air and a breathtaking view.
